1. Turn cell phone to silent (off is better)

2. Arrive 10-15 minutes early

3. Drive to the location of the interview prior to the interview to make sure you know where you
are going

4. Research the company before the interview (not while you’re waiting to be interviewed)

5. Have questions prepared to ask

6. Reach out to current employees on LinkedIn and ask how they like the company, what the culture is
like etc

7. Be prepared to give examples of your accomplishments at your employers, not just what your
duties were

8. Be prepared to answer behavioral questions (see separate post)

9. If interview make you super nervous, practice in front of a mirror or have a friend help
